Our commitment to special families:
We understand how difficult life can be with a family
member who has special needs. We offer resources for parents, siblings,
other family members, and caregivers of children with special needs.
Children with special needs can be endearing, lovable, and extremely challenging. On this page we share insights and experiences on family life. Autism, developmental and learning disorders, cerebral palsy, special healthcare needs, etc. are discussed--focusing on the special needs of families. The Special Needs Families Resource Center is a service of Alternative Choices, an independent psychology practice. One of the important services we now provide includes diagnostic evaluations and second opinions for children and family members who may have warning signs of autism. Click here for details.
